About Us
Meat and Eggs
What vegetables do you grow? When are they available?
We grow a large variety of vegetables.  Harvest occurs over the course of the year.  We even harvest some vegetables over the winter months, since we use cold frames and greenhouses to protect the plants.  You can always call the farm to find out what is available.

What flowers do you grow?
We'll have zinnias, cosmos, sunflowers, statice, strawflowers, blue salvia, gomphrena, celosia, Asclepias (Butterfly Weed), ageratum, yarrow, echinaceae, obedient plant, Heliopsis (false sunflower), Rudbeckia (Black-Eyed Susan).

What is CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Our members pay a fee upfront and then receive a weekly share of fresh vegetables. We also require our members to come out to the farm and volunteer for two hours per week. You can read more about CSA programs here:

Community Supported Agriculture:  LocalHarvest

How does the Flower CSA work?
Members of the Flower CSA join by paying $50. They can come out to the farm at any time and cut 25 stems of flowers from our flower beds, for 10 total bouquets.

Your CSA is full. How can I get involved with Turner Farm?
You can buy vegetables from the produce shed on the farm or from our Findlay Market stand. If you're interested in coming out to the farm to work, we always welcome volunteers at Turner Farm.  You can even work for food.  You can take home $5 in produce for each hour that you work.

Come to a workshop! You can read more about volunteering, workshops, and events at Turner on our Education and Events page.
Certified Organic
Turner Farm is Certified Organic by the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA). The growers utilize energy efficient, biological principles to produce nutritionally superior, bio-diverse organic foods. Compost and natural plant-based supplements help create and maintain healthy soil and plant life. Integrated pest management safely controls crop damage without use of harmful pesticides. Artificial chemicals and synthetic fertilizers are not used.

Turner Farm is committed to organic agricultural practices and promoting a community endeavor that renews and improves the land for future generations.
How do I buy vegetables and flowers from
Turner Farm?
There are three ways to get Turner Farm veggies and flowers:
1.
Turner Farm operates a self-serve farm stand. Drive down the road to the white garage with a "Turner Farm Market" sign. We accept cash and check, but no credit cards. For more information, see the hours and map page.
2.
Come see us at historic Findlay Market in downtown Cincinnati on Saturdays from June to October and on Tuesday afternoons.
3.
In October, check for openings in our vegetable CSA (we are closed for 2010) and in February we begin taking registrations for our flower CSA.
