Price Hill Community Garden

Serving Price Hill

Located adjacent to the Price Hill Recreation Center campus, the Price Hill Community Garden was started in 2017 and is a fenced, half-acre site with both a collectively managed market-style garden and individual plots. The unique location makes it accessible to a broad demographic of the population, including families, individuals and youth already participating in established programs.

Growing Together

During the growing season, our Community Garden Manager Tom Hunter regularly works in the Price Hill Community Garden. Times vary between mornings, afternoons, weekdays and weekends. While gardeners may schedule themselves to work independently in the garden, scheduling collaborative workdays is preferred. Contact us to learn more.

The garden and education programs are managed by the Turner Farm Community Garden Program. The site is Cincinnati Parks land with oversight by the Cincinnati Recreation Commission. Garden collaborators are Price Hill Will, Santa Maria Community Services, and the East Price Hill Improvement Association. The garden has also received funds from the City of Cincinnati Urban Agriculture Program and Keep Cincinnati Beautiful for site development and tools.
